Cesar Valverde has lived all his life by the beach in Playa Dominicalito de Osa. Cesar took over Costa Rica Surf Camp (formerly owned by his friend Alejandro Cerdas) to continue the tradition of great surf instruction and wonderful guest services that has always characterized Costa Rica Surf Camp in Playa Dominical as the best surf destination in Costa Rica. Cesar began his surfing at Punta Limonal a series of rocks and pointbreaks just south of Playa Dominical when he was 10 and hasn't stopped since. In his late teens Cesar enjoyed competing insurf competitions and held a

place on the national team. Now he decates his time tohis surf camp and free style surfing.

Cesar has a very caring personality and always goes out of his way to see that his guests have a great time. Not only does he love sharing his knowledge of surfing, but he also enjoys showing his guests the culture of Playa Dominical. He strives to make everyone's experience in our surf camp a personal and unique, and also that everyone leaves with the confidence to surf waves on their own. Cesar always make sure that his students get to see just what a magical place Playa Dominical is.
